The image below shows a window behind a bath.. The image is with the blind open and then closed.
There is no light seen around the blind when it is closed. This is due to the fabric travelling within side channels which have been chased into the vertical sides of the recess. When the blind is open the fabric retracts into a hidden void in the recess
